where do all the lost things go?
reminisces lost memories in the form of memorabilia and questions how it lives on. Whether it's lost keys or an old comfort toy, the memory islands house these memories that have been transient yet so memorable in our lives as we grow up.

Inspired by Elizabeth Bishop’s poem One Art, the memory islands represent the art of losing and reminisces different milestones and phases in life – from infancy to adolescence to adulthood. Embedded within the islands are a myraid of found items mostly gathered from my home and grandparents’ storerooms. Some are items that we typically lose at that age, some represent things we metaphorically lose after that particular age. Suspended and arranged loosely in a spiral formation, viewers are invited to walk through the cycle of life and take a closer and more upfront look at the details in each island, once again discovering things that evoke and unlock distant memories.
