There’s one thing that both the arts and sciences can agree on – the beauty of the human mind. Through our creativity and the work of our hands, we can turn all the imaginary worlds and theories we dream of into reality. In this illustration, the editability of DNA and CRISPR technology is likened to the intricate cutting of paper chains during an arts and crafts session. It highlights the interconnectedness between our creative endeavours and the advancements in scientific understanding, showing the profound impact of human ingenuity on shaping how we view our world while also having fun in the process.
Process:
Laser cut pieces are glued and put together before photo is taken of the composition. Edited colours and final composition in Photoshop.
