Heartstrings is a crocheted heart in a web of strings that intersect, twist, and pull. This multi-coloured sculpture explores the agonizing joy of a crush, and the toll it has on the hearts of young queer people. The unique experience of a yet-to-be-requited queer love, and its twisted, intertwined complexities can feel equal parts torturous, thrilling, and heart-wrenching.
